This retreat will help to develop your mindfulness and stay focused even in the difficult moments of your life. You will be prepared to work more effectively in your workplaces, schools, and universities. By participating in this session, you will learn to resolve problems with the mind of Loving Kindness, to develop critical thinking, and to resolve issues with superior advice from the Buddha. Teachings such as the Four Foundations of Mindfulness and Five Hindrances will be taught in the class. Different types of meditation techniques such as walking meditation and breathing meditation are also included in this session.
If you are new to meditation and do not have any experience with meditation this is a great opportunity for you. You will learn how you can effectively use the meditation to live happily. The documents for each mediation are published on our web page and you can download them. Also, the program will be helpful for participants to reduce and eradicate their stress, depression, and anxiety. Participants can learn these techniques to improve efficiency by developing mindfulness. Hence you will learn how to do many things in a short period.
Because this class is more interactive, you will get the opportunity to ask questions. You can learn how to resolve day-to-day difficulties with the group according to the Buddha’s wisdom.The class will be taught by a monk trained in the Theravada Buddhist tradition.
Lunch and Tea/Coffee will be provided. Please bring your lunch if you have any dietary requirements.

Loving-Kindness Meditation:

Walking Meditation:
Walking meditation is a contemplative practice that combines mindfulness with physical movement. With each step, you cultivate a deep awareness of movement and presence. When you walk mindfully, you’re aware of how things change. Each step reminds you that everything comes and goes.
